Distractions

Tis the Season! Yes all, holidays are approaching quickly. Many of us feel that holidays are a distraction for staying strict on protocol. If that may be you, have a plan and be aware of what you may be encountering prior to walking into that party, event or occasion. If it’s a potluck think of bringing a veggie and/or main dish that would be of protocol. If you will be dining at a restaurant look online at the menu in advance. Many restaurants are more than willing to accommodate you on most special requests.

Traveling during the holidays could be another distraction however you can be one of the many Ideal Protein dieters who still lost weight on their vacation. Many of us have done it! With a little planning with your health coach and following our tip sheet, you will be able to make the best choices possible while away.

Another distraction could be a personal life situation. It could be good or bad where we may use food to sabotage protocol. Whatever your distraction may be at this time, remember we have no control of what we are surrounded by but we do have control from within. We all have that inner strength to conquer. The question is how bad do you want it? Seek deep from within and state a positive affirmation, for example, “I will overcome”, “I am powerful” or “I will conquer”. Set your affirmation statement and your distraction will no longer be powerful. You have the power to set out what you want to accomplish.

Be clear and stay firm in what you envision for yourself. I truly believe our mind is so powerful! Attract only positive vibes and disconnect yourself with all the negative distractions. I recently read a quote, “it’s not that anything is possible; everything is possible.”

Let’s do it!
